Pas de la Casa is on of the most popular destinations for ski holidays in Andorra thanks to its wide slopes and exceptional snow. Great skiing in Pas de la Casa is guaranteed as it is also the highest resort of the Grandvalira Ski Area - other resorts in the area include Encamp, El Tarter, Pas de la Casa and Canillo.
Pas de La Casa - Ski
Our lift passes in Pas de La Casa cover the whole Grandvalira ski domain.
Amongst the local pistes there is a beginners area (the largest in the Pyrenees) for those just starting to ski and board. Most the slopes are on a high, treeless north/south ridge separating Pas de la Casa on the east Grau Roig on the west. South of Grau Roig is the wooded Mont Malus with a pretty black and red runs through the trees. Other highlights include a small board park and half-pipe on the Grau Roig side of the mountain for snowboarders and every Wednesday night there is night skiing on Font Negre. The area also boasts 4 off piste trails accessed by Snowcats, 3 competition pistes, 3 freestyle areas and 2 boardercross trails.
Pas de La Casa - Town
The pistes run right down into town of Pas de la Casa - which is a lively evening spot with plenty of bars, discos and restaurants including an Ice Bar. The town is a favourite of younger visitors in the area and there is also a large commercial centre. Sector 3 is one of the best shops with ever type of ski and material for winter sports.
Activities
The ski area's activites include snowmobiles, dog sled rides, paragliding, sleigh rides and zip lines. The Pedrus mountain has some great snow shoe circuits and touring trails. For those wanting a break from skiing visit the sports and fitness centre, ice rink, swimming pool, jacuzzi or sauna.
Children
The ski school in Pas de la Casa has an excellent reputation and good English is spoken.
